Rajendra’s (Raj’s) Founder & Director of World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd and also as a Mountain guide has allowed him to know each mountain intimately. He has started his journey in this field from the porter and has been able to become one of the successes in this field. He has 20 years of experience in developing, organizing and leading tours and trekking adventures. Raj has safely guided almost 3,000 people from every continent. People of different ages and physical abilities have experienced the beautiful country of Nepal and the Himalayas, through Raj’s leadership. Every person who has known Rajendra Ramtel(Raj) says that he believes in education, courtesy, honesty, and respect. He is honest and perfect in his work.
World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd (Reg. Gov. No:2617) is an official member of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), the Village Tourism Promotion Forum–Nepal (VITOF- Nepal) and of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). Jay is a retiree who lives on the gulf coast of Florida, USA. He has a BS in chemistry with a minor in art and design. Retirement has allowed Jay to travel and experience many different cultures. One of his most memorable travels was to Nepal, where he and his roommate from college did the Anapurna Circuit. That’s when he met and became friends with “Raj”. As Raj’s business grew and developed, Jay has advised the company on “American” English and advertising graphics. He would very much like to return to Nepal and do other treks.
