Cost

  • Price: The cost for a mountain flight typically ranges from USD 190 to USD 240 per person, depending on the airline and season. Prices can fluctuate with demand, so it's a good idea to book in advance if you're visiting during peak seasons (autumn and spring).
  • Private Flights: Some airlines offer private chartered flights for groups or special occasions, which can be more expensive.

Best Time to Go

  • The best months for a mountain flight are generally during the autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) seasons, when the skies are clear and the weather is more predictable.
  • Winter flights are still possible but might be subject to weather delays, as some flights may be canceled due to poor visibility or cloud cover.
  • Early morning is usually the best time for these flights to ensure clearer skies and better visibility of the mountains.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Weather-Dependent: Mountain flights are weather-dependent, so if weather conditions are not suitable (such as heavy clouds or poor visibility), the flight may be canceled or rescheduled.
  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or change your booking, airlines generally have a 24-hour cancellation policy, with a full or partial refund depending on the notice period. Always confirm cancellation policies directly with the airline.
