Cancellation of trip by customers:
* Booking Packages Cancellation & Credit Policy
Once flight tickets or booking packages have been confirmed and issued by World Himalayan Destination Pvt. Ltd., the following cancellation and refund terms and conditions will apply:
The travel credit is subject to the terms and conditions applicable at the time of future booking.
If a client requests cancellation of a confirmed flight ticket or booking package, a 30% cancellation charge will be deducted from the total booking amount.
The remaining 70% will not be refunded in cash. Instead, the amount will be retained as travel credit and may be used toward the client’s next trip or other travel services with World Himalayan Destination Pvt. Ltd. Any government taxes, service charges, airline fees, or other non-refundable charges will also be deducted, where applicable.
* There will be no refunds if a passenger leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, after it has begun. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used. In case of NO-SHOW or early checkout, a non-refund will be made. (Considered as cancellation without the required advance notice)
* If the tour or trekking is stopped, or early arrival is due to natural accident likewise weather reasons, this case World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd will not refund. Fee.
* Once you have started the trek, if you are unable to continue the trek for any reason will be treated as a cancellation that has not been used. Also, you have to pay for additional nights at the Kathmandu hotel yourself
* If you are unable to continue the trek for any reason and you have to separate from your group, we will arrange your Porter / Guide back to Kathmandu, but you have to pay yourself for the Guide/porter and Kathmandu Hotel additional nights. The World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd will not be responsible for any costs associated with unused or partially used trek package services.
* If you’re doing Everest Base Camp trekking, you have to fly from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla. The Kathmandu-to-Lukla or Ramechhap-to-Lukla flight may be delayed by a few hours or even canceled for a day or more. It is very rare, but it could happen even in the best trekking season. If the Lukla flight is canceled due to the weather, The World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd is not responsible. The transportation, food, and hotel in Kathmandu must be covered by you. We cannot refund your payment. We will let you know, and you will do the next trek package, such as Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, etc.
* In the event of any trek cancellation or additional unforeseen costs, World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd will be happy to cooperate in providing any necessary documentation to enable a legitimate insurance claim. It is a requirement that all clients have suitable travel insurance, and World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd cannot be responsible for any additional costs due to client cancellation, illness, unfitness, or inability to continue the trek.
* For authentication purposes, only written cancellation notices (e-mail or WhatsApp) will be accepted. In case of NO-SHOW or early checkout, a non-refund will be made. (Considered as cancellation without the required advance notice)Amendments need to be made not less than 5 business days before the check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact us directly)
Cancellation of the trek by World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd
* If World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd cancels your trip because of due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restrictions, landslide, road blockage, flood, Political unrest, or cancellation of flight, we will provide an alternative trip. If would not interested in doing an alternative trip, we will decide to cancel the trek on behalf of the client, and we are unable to refund any amount of the Nepalese cash. Any extra cost due to those reasons acquiring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot.
* If World Himalayan Destination Pvt Ltd is unable to offer an alternative trip (e.g., government restriction, landslide, road blockage, flood, Political unrest), we will refund the amount of the cost not already spent: National park entrance fees, air or tourist bus ticket, TIMS / Local community card, guide and porter allowances, and office overhead. Unfortunately, the trek deposit amount is non-refundable. You will have to reclaim the remaining amount from your travel insurance.
