Detail itinerary

On arrival at airport, we will receive you there and drive to hotel. A trip briefing in the afternoon and O/N at hotel in Kathmandu.

Breakfast and Kathmandu tour visit Swayambhunath stupa known as monkey temple, Patan, Boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath temple.

Take an enchanting flight over the Himalayas including Mt Everest to Paro. On arrival at Paro airport, your Bhutan tour guide will receive you there and drive to Hotel. Leisure in the afternoon, visit Paro town, stroll through its quaint two streets and browse through the shops.


Breakfast and explore interesting touring sites of Paro such as Ta Dzong converted into National Museum now has a wide range of antique thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and natural and historic artifacts and Rinpung Dzong is the seat of the district administration and the residence of the monastic school and famous for its wall murals depicting Buddhist parables, symbols and the lives of prominent saints. In the afternoon visit Drukgyel Dzong, the fort of the victorious Drukpas offers the majestic view of mount Chomolhari, the mountain of goddess. En route, we visit Kyichu Lhakhang, the 7th century's 108 temples.


Breakfast and drive to Thimphu, capital town of Bhutan. En route we visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of Bhutan now serves as a school for Buddhist studies. Afternoon, visit the King's Memorial Chhorten, the Handicrafts Emporium, the Textile Museum,the local market and Trashichhodzong, the seat of the government and the monk body. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu

Morning, breakfast and visit folk Heritage Museum, National Library, Painting School and Traditional Medicine Institute in Thimphu. In the afternoon,lunch and drive to Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan via Dochula pass (3,050m), it offers the fascinating views of the mountains. In Puankha, visit Chimi lhakhang, the temple is renowned for blessing barren women with fertility and Punakha Dzong, straddling a junction between two rivers.


Breakfast and drive to Gangtey via Wangduephodrang. Visit majestic Wangdue Dzong and the local market. Drive through dense forests of oak and rhododendron before reaching Gangtey is also known as Phobjikha. Evening take a walk around Gangtey village and visit Gangtey Gompa, the only Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan.


Morning explore Phobjikha valley, the winter roosting ground for the Black Necked Crane. The cranes migrate here from Central Asiatic plateau to escape its harsh winters. After lunch drive to Trongsa, crossing (3,300m) high Pele la pass. Evening visit to Trongsa market. Overnight at the lodge in Trongsa

Morning visit to Trongsa Dzong, the masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture and see Ta Dzong, the watchtower, built to defend this Dzong and surrounding region. In the afternoon, lunch and drive to Bumthang, the religious heartland of the nation. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Bumthang

In the morning, breakfast and explore the beautiful valley of Bumthang, a heaven for trekkers and hikers. It is also home to many prominent Buddhist temples and monasteries. we visit Tamshing Lhakhang, the treasure house of interesting religious Buddhist paintings and Jakar Dzong, the administrative centre of the valley. In the Afternoon. we visit Kurje Lhakhang, one of the most sacred temples and Jambay Lhakhang and local market. Overnight at the lodge in Bumthang.


Breakfast and drive to Thimphu . Lunch will be served in Trongsa town. Arrive Thimphu and check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.


Breakfast and drive to Paro. Later take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery known as Tiger's Nest, the important religious site of Bhutan,hanging on rocky cliff where once the Lotus born buddha - Padhmashambav had mediated there. It offers a grand view of Paro valley.


Breakfast and drive to Paro airport to get your flight back to home. Say goodbye to your guide and driver at Paro airport.
