Ramaroshan is a highland area in Achham District, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal, famous for its 12 lakes and 18 lush green meadows (locally called patans) scattered across rolling hills. It sits between about 2,050 m and 3,800 m above sea level and offers spectacular landscapes with wetlands, grasslands, forests, and Himalayan views.

The Ramaroshan Trek begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi. After spending a night there, we visit the Mohana Corridor and a Tharu village. The next day, we drive to Safebagar, which takes about 7–8 hours through hilly terrain. From Jugada, we begin the trek and later end near Safebagar. The best seasons for the Ramaroshan Trek are autumn and spring.

After completing the trek, we can either drive to Dhangadhi, Surkhet, or Nepalgunj for a flight back to Kathmandu. Alternatively, from Kathmandu, you can fly to Nepalgunj or Surkhet and then drive to Safebagar. However, since Dhangadhi is the largest city in the far-western region, it is worth visiting to experience its vibrant lifestyle and culture.
