Detail itinerary
Day 01: Nepalgunj to Juphal (2475 m) flight and Juphal to Dunai (2140m)
3 Hrs B/L/D Tea House
You will be picked up at you airport from Nepalgunj by our representatives. Then, flight to Juphal which will take approximately 35 minutes. And after that our trek starts from Juphal. Juphai to Dunai is easy trek. Trek down to Kalagauda takes forty five which is followed by two hours of hike along the trails of river Thuli Bheri.
Day 02: Dunai to Chhepka (2687 m)

As the trek begins we will take you through the Dolpo trekking route via Sulighar, which is not difficult. Then you will go inside Shey Phoksundo National Park by showing the permit at Sulighat Check Post. As the trek goes on you will get a chance to see landscapes as we will move further through the lush tropical forest through mid-hill villages like Jutung and arrival at Shangta. From Shangta we will move towards Chhepka and overnight stay at the same place.
Day 03: Chhepka to Chunuwar / Amchi Hospital (3000 m)

We will trek in the opposite direction of the river flow to Amchi hospital. The trek crosses the bridge over Phoksundo Khola twice and goes to Rechi (3011m) where we will stop for the lunch. Then we will hike along the riverside trail to Sulligad Dovan where we will cross the bridge over Phoksundo Khola and Yulung Khola & arrive at Amchi Hospital( Amchi refers to traditional doctors who treats you with the herbal medicine rather than chemical medicine). We will set our camps at the side of Amchi Hospital.
Day 04: Chunuwar / Amchi Hospital to Phoksundo Lake (3600m)

Then we will join the trail to Phoksundo Lake through forest by climbing of big cedars to Palam (3710m). Our route will continue to Ringmo Village, just below we will cross a bridge & follow the trail to Phoksundo Lake, where we will camp at National park camping grounds west.
Day 05: Rest day at Phoksundo

Day 06: Phoksundo to Sallaghari (3630m)

You will have an amazing day today & also have best trekking day from Dolpo to Mustang Trek. It climbs along the narrow trail cut on a cliff standing vertically straight above Phoksundo Lake. To get to the Phoksundo Khola we will slide down for ninety minutes along the beautiful forests. Then, you will enjoy the night in the camps amongst beautiful pine forest.
Day 07: Sallaghari to Nangdala HC (4717m)
5-6 Hrs B/L/D Tea House
Today’s trek is short in comparison to other trek. We will trek about three hours to reach Kangla/Nangdala Base Camp (4100m). As the trek begins we will move towards the Tuk Kyaksa River which will switches to opposite side of river several times. As soon as we reach at the place where there are rapids of rivers. After 30 minutes’ walk we will come across the wide valley followed by two hours of walk along canyon.
Day 08: Nangdala HC to Shey Gompa (4343m) crossing Nangdala pass (5350m)

We will trek to Shey Gompa & nearby ‘Crystal Mountain’ which is the most sacred peak in Dolpo. Then we will move towards Kangla/Nangdala Pass which is along the graveled trail uphill for continuous three hours. The view from Kang La pass includes Crystal Mountain, the mountains in Tibetan territory and the mesmerizing landscapes of Dolpo & also the view of peaks Shey Shikkar and Kang Chunne which is both 6ooo m.
Day 09: Shey Gompa to Namgung Gompa (4360m) crossing Shey La Pass (5100m)

Today we will explore around Shey Gompa which is 800 years old with an ancient scroll describing about the crystal Mountains which is also known as Shelri Sumdho Gompa. The landscapes during the trek of this part are typical Dolpo Landscapes. Then we will begin to climb towards the top of Shey La Pass, which is almost two hours of hike. Through Shey La pass you will get to see magnificent views of Mustang to the East, Tiben to the North & Kyanjiroba, Kagmara & Riu Dhukta or Crystal Mountain to the west. We will spend nght at Namjung.
Day 10: Namgung Gompa to Saldang (3770m)

From Saldang, we explore the monastery of Namjung set on flanking cliff. As the trek begins we will follow Namga Khola cross pass more summer herding spots and emerge out of spur for a short hike down to Saldang. Saldang is a beautiful village with lots of dry land surrounded hills. Amchi tradition and Buddhism in Dolpo thrives here at Saldang. We'll get a chance to visit some local houses, drink some salt butter tea or chhyang (Tibetan barley beer) and sample the local fare at Saldang.
Day 11: Saldang Day hike to Yangjer Gumba (4590m)

Today we will have a day hike after early breakfast to Yanjer the richest monastery of this region. We will have packed lunch and will come back to Saldang for the night stop after the exploration of the monastery.
Day 12: Saldang to Komash Village (4060m)
6 Hrs B/L/D Tea House
We will trek for six hours today and reach village of Komash. Initially, the trail follows the Saldang Lek along the Rapyha Khola to the barren hillside. Exiting out to the elevated ridge of almost 4500m, the trail descends down steeply to Komash Village a village which bears similarity to a Tibetan village. Overnight in tents at Komash.
Day 13: Komash Village to Shimen (3850m)

As from Komash village we might get change to see endangered animals like snow leopard or Blue sheep. On the way we pass small villages. The landscapes in the vicinity is full of highland deserts with few shrub like vegetation. After almost five hours of comfortable hike we arrive to Shimen. Overnight in the tented camps at Shimen.
Day 14: Shimen to Tinje (4110m)

The trail will go by the side of Panjyang Khola. There are some villages and gompas on the way to Tinje. Tinje is a very beautiful valley. There is a natural air strip where once a British aircraft had landed and taken off.
Day 15: Tinje Village to Yak Kharka
6 Hrs B/L/D Tea House
From the village of Tinje we will trek to Yak Kharka which will chases the trail beside Panjyan River to the small settlement of Chhamdang. Beside Chhamdang the trek along the river bank continues to the confluence of Chholtam Khola and Panjyan Khola. Trekking further we cross the bridge over Thalum Khola, which flows from Thalum Lek and arrive at Yak Kharka. Yak Kharka is an open grazing ground for yaks and sheep. The grassy meadow of Yak Kharka makes for an excellent camping site
Day 16: Yak Kharka to Tokyu (4240m)

As the trek begins today we will cross bridge over Sulun Khola crossing the bridge over streams which will arrive at Choila North Pass which is difficult trek.This trek will take two hours steef climbing where Tokyu Camps are sen. We will settle our camps for the overnight stay.
Day 17: Tokyo to Dho Tarap (3944m) Rest day

Day 18: Dho Tarap to Naworpani (3475m)

The trek will cover long distances as we start the trek. We will hike along the flat trail beside Tarap Khola to Mirububane Khola Dovan- the confluence of Tarap Khola and Mirubabane Khola. Then the trek slides down to the bridge over Klang Khloa at Langa Camp. The trail continues to chase Tarap Khola with the picturesque views of arid landscapes. As the trek goes further the trail emerges and cross passes several villages like Sisaul, Gyamghar, Toltol and finally we come to Nawarpani for the night stop.
Day 19: Naworpani to Lashicap (2775m)

Today trek will begin on Trails that run beside Tarap Khola. The green forest start to emerge. Then we will move towars Lamchaur passing Lahini Odar desending to Chhedhul Gompa.
Day 20: Lashicap to Dunai

We will trek along the green woodlands high above Thuli Bheri River towards Tarakot. Just before arriving to Tarakot, we cross the bridge over the small stream. The last day of the trek is not less interesting. We trek on the trail that stretches beside Thuli Bheri River to Dunai via Lawan and Byasgad. The trail has forested region on its west, Thuli Bheri River and cultivated terraced fields on its East. We have our lunch at Dunai.
Day 21: Dunai to Juphal

The chain goes by side of Bheri River till Kagawda and towards Juphal. A couple of hours trek from Dunai brings us to Juphal.
Juphal to Nepalgunj flight and Nepalgunj to Kathmandu flight
